TC Series

The TC Series of ruggedized electrical connectors provides mixed power and signal transmission with complete IP67 environmental protection. Five receptacle styles and a full array of protective backshells, including EMI/RFI, environmental, and strain relief, offer performance and reliability without compromise for all military and industrial applications.

The TC Series also features firewall rated connectors that offer improved temperature capabilities for use in engine compartments or for any other application where the need to prevent emergency fire ingress is necessary. Firewall connectors are machined from passivated stainless steel and feature flame resistant inserts.

TC Series Plugs

Description

Plugs feature a wire sealing grommet for superior sealing in harsh environments. Strain relief backshells are required to protect from cable tension. Covers are recommended to protect contacts and coupling threads from damage or debris.

Description

This plug features a self-locking coupling ring designed for applications subjected to high vibration, or when an extra level of protection is required. The self-locking clutch provides tactile and audible confirmation of coupling. Covers are recommended to protect contacts and coupling threads.

Description

The wall mount receptacle features a four hole flange for easy installation. This receptacle may be front and rear mounted for application flexibility. A gasket and mounting bracket with sealing screws are recommended for environmental installs.

Description

The EMI/RFI banding boot adapter provides effective shield termination for applications using a shrink boot. Shielding is achieved with a band applied by a simple hand tool over a specially designed platform. The overlaying boot ensures strain relief and complete IP67 environmental protection. TC Series contacts are machined from copper alloy and are gold plated for the highest electrical continuity and corrosion resistance. The series offers contacts in sizes #0, #4, #8, #12, and #16, which are suitable for 0-20 AWG wire and are rated for up to 150 amps. In addition, thermocouples are available in sizes #16 and #20. Sealing plugs are required for any open positions in a connector to maintain reliable environmental protection.

Description

The TK101A precision crimp tool enables termination of contacts from #12 to #20. The tool features an eight impression crimp, which ensures maximum tensile strength between wire and contact. The cycle controlled ratchet is consistent and accurate and does not permit half crimps, ensuring complete and precise crimping every time. For larger TC Series contacts (#0, #4, #8), the TU103A pneumatic crimper must be used.
