Heavy Duty Connectors for Shipboard Applications
The NS Series of connectors is based on the popular MIL-DTL-28840 standard and is designed to meet or exceed all of the specifications for performance and durability. M28840 connectors were designed for use in shipboard applications by the U.S. Navy. Milnec continues that tradition with the NS Series, a high density environmental connector with a shock-resistant threaded coupling system and front release crimp contacts. NS Series connectors feature a splined backshell interface and a wire sealing grommet that improve mechanical and environmental performance. Connector shells are scoop proof and EMI/RFI shielded and are made from corrosion resistant materials and finishes. The NS Series is ready for your rugged application.
