Description
MIL-DTL-38999 type protective covers are the best defense for mil-spec connectors that are left unmated. Covers, or dust caps, provide environmental protection to exposed contacts. They also keep the coupling mechanism clean and free from dirt or other contaminants so that the connector is ready for use.
